Norman Harrell ... a Virginia Beach, Virginia based singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and entertainer is available for parties, concert engagements, club dates, bar mitzvahs, wedding receptions, divorce celebrations, boat launchings, outdoor festivals and smokers.

Featuring a wide variety of musical styles, Norman Harrell is a consummate performer of great depth. Pop music, folk, country, rock, jazz, blues, easy listening, alternative and original music round out the playlist that is sure to please any listening taste.

Norman Harrell has been a member of such infamous groups as Snuff and The Nerve with his cousin, the late Sammy Harrell, as well as a prolific single performer and a mainstay of the concert stage at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront and many other venues in Tidewater.

Norman and The Acoustaholics host "Songwriters Nite" at several local watering holes. They are open to the public. Singer songwriters are encouraged to bring out their latest song and try it out in front of a live audience. There are songwriters there with varying levels of experience. Some of Tidewater's best professional songwriters show up to work out new material and help those with less stage experience. This creates an atmosphere where songwriters can interact and learn from each other what works and what doesn't work. "The Acoustaholics Songwriters Stage" especially encourages the under-21 year old performers by always giving them the stage first in the evening. This allows for an earlier evening and while still have a chance to mingle with seasoned writers and performers.

Norman is also performing with Chuck Larson and Robbie House, former band mates in Snuff, along with Woody Nordan as "The Snuff Band". Smooth Country Rock, heavy on the vocals. You can catch them on Festival and Concert stages at the Virginia Beach Waterfront and Waterside in Norfolk. The Snuff Band is playing in some club in the Tidewater area most week ends.
